Blue Cotton

What the night brings forth.

Upon a dazzling though aged crown of glitter and accumulated dust, the forgotten dancing of the hundreds continued beyond what reality restricted the normal eye to witness. Round and round each span, never ending against a back drop of moonlight on top a paradise depicted in cracked marble and thorns. Nature’s watery mirrors on either side captured their reflections; encapsulating blue cotton sashes twirling amid a vast field of silken satin sheets and leafs which circled the tired feet amongst their deadened bodies that lay far beneath every step taken.
Love and honour entwined as one singular might, with each empty breath stolen back to which cold air to be then released, the sense of warm flesh had become a distant memory, for what had been shall never again be as the earth claimed all that she deemed too beautiful a sight to let go.
